Phuket Beach is popularly known as the ‘Pearl of the South’. Phuket is the largest island in Thailand. From north to south Phuket island is 48 km and from east to west it is 21 km. A chain of mountains intersperse Phuket Beach in Thailand. These mountains in Phuket Beach run in the north south direction along the west coast. These less crowded and beautiful beaches of north coast of Phuket are lined with pine trees unlike other beaches which have palm trees. In the north coast beaches of Phuket, you will be able to enjoy nature in its complete glory along with the vast expanse of the blue sea.
South Coast Beaches
The south coast beaches of Phuket are the best ones in Thailand. These beaches have mighty mountains sprouting up from the sea. Dark dense forests cover these mountains. South coast beaches of Phuket are dotted with coral reefs and are covered with white powdery sand. The panorama offered by the south coast beaches of Phuket are a photographer’s paradise. On these beaches you can watch some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Relax Bay lies to the north of these beaches. The Cape Panwa area is also included in the area of these south coast beaches.
